Waterfalls, I have determined, are one of my most favorite things in the world. Any type, any kind, any shape, any size, I find them to be of the most utter beauty.
Huka Falls in Rotorua were just absolutely amazing. Our bus driver and tour guide, Robert, let us know that these falls in particular produce enough water to fill five olympic pools per minute! So amazing. And don’t even get me started on the color of them… They were turquoise blue just like the color of Hawaiian Waikiki beach waters.
And they sounded loud, loud all on their own, producing power and strength beyond anything else that surrounded them. They claimed the space, and they were simply magnificent to watch.
